Orders

Minimum order value £10.00 excluding VAT & carriage charges. For mail orders we can accept payment by Cheque, Debit or Credit Card (Subject to normal conditions). Cheques should be made payable to:

CREDIT CARDS

MasterCard and Visa, Switch and Delta, are accepted for all sales and are particularly welcome for telephone orders, there will be a bank charge of £1.99 for using this service for both credit and debit cards. Under normal circumstances goods can only be dispatched to the credit card holders home address.

DELIVERY CHARGES

UK Only: Goods are dispatched by either letter post, parcel post or by our appointed carrier. Please allow 7 working days from receipt of order. Charges are normally as follows, however, in the event of long or excessively heavy items or conversely light items we have to take discretion over the cost. If in doubt please telephone for guidance.

Orders under £10.00 – £4.99 plus VAT

Orders under £25.00 – £10.35 inc VAT

Orders over £25.00 – £12.45 inc VAT

For Highlands, Channel/Offshore Islands: Different charges apply

CONDITIONS OF DISPATCH

All material will be supplied in standard catalogue lengths unless otherwise requested. Although we do our best to be helpful, our liability ceases when we dispatch the goods for which we obtain record of posting. Goods only dispatched by carrier are insured to a limit of £50. Should insurance be required then an appropriate fee is payable.

Should customers be unavailable to receive goods on delivery the goods will be either left without a signature or returned to the carriers depot. Liability will then be with the customer. Please advise a day when you will be available.

V.A.T.

All UK Orders and orders dispatched to countries within the EEC (Including Postage and Package charges) are subject to V.A.T. charged at the rate on the date of invoice.

PRICES

Whilst we endeavour to keep our prices for a period of 1 year from the start date of this list, due to escalating and fluctuating material costs we have to reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly.

DRAWINGS

Where Drawings are supplied with castings these are intended for guidance only.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

Overseas Customers are requested to submit payment by credit or debit card, as this is the simplest method, however, International Money Orders, Bankers Draft or Credit Transfer is acceptable. Personal cheques are accepted providing extra time is allowed for clearance and banking charges of £5 included. All cheques must be in pounds sterling.

GOODS

Defective goods will be replaced free of charge, however we cannot always be responsible for postage and packing charges. Goods returned to us for any other reason of order cancellations will incur a restocking charge of 20%.

We reserve the right to invoice goods at the prices ruling at the date of dispatch. Where minimum sizes are required, please state clearly on your order. Your dimensions must include cutting/machining allowance.

On items supplied that are not standard lengths or require extra cutting, a cutting charge will be added.

ORDERS

Telephone orders welcome, however, to avoid confusion please confirm by email as we cannot be held responsible for misunderstanding your requirements. Please state all sizes required including machining allowance.
